We did not start with dock seals

We began as a pole-vault and high-jump landing system manufacturer, and outgrew our first facility in two years. That business was all about foam, heavy fabric and stitching that has to hold when something lands on it — which turns out to be the same problem as a dock seal, at a different scale.

Dock Seal Supply was created in 2019 as an extension of that manufacturing knowledge. Same materials, same machines, same people; a different product.

Everything is made by hand

There is no assembly line here and no overseas contract manufacturer. A dedicated team cuts, sews and frames every seal in Tyler, Texas, to the measurements the customer sent in. That is why a custom size is not an upcharge — every unit is made to order either way.

What we are trying to do

Affordable, high-quality products for businesses nationwide, with turnaround quicker than most dock seal manufacturers, and a commitment to customer satisfaction every time.

In practice that comes down to three things. Build it properly, out of materials that last. Tell people an honest date and hit it. And answer the phone — when you call, you get Dave, who quotes the job and is in the shop while it is being built.
